Between May and June 2020, Adele Furrie Consulting Inc. (AFCI) collected information on the impact COVID-19 has had on the lives of Ottawa seniors. Over 2,000 respondents shared their stories, giving a clear picture of how older adults were coping with the pandemic, and also what they've done to adapt to this changed reality to protect themselves and their loved ones. 

Many respondents completed a second questionnaire in early August, again sharing their thoughts on what they needed to help them cope during the upcoming winter months.

Join the AFCI team on March 29, 2021 , as they share their findings. Afterwards a representative of COA's Social Inclusion Committee will talk about resources and supports available throughout Ottawa. Finally, we want to hear from you - your questions, your suggestions, your coping strategies!
